Default How to send *.doc file to e-mail address?

Hey,

I have a *.doc file and want to send it to an e-mail address. It seems impossible using gmail app and dropbox (even tried renaming it to *.mp3, *.jpg, etc.) or browser (both built in and skyfire). Is there an application that would let me send said file to an e-mail address as an attachment?

Thanks!

are you using the newest version of Dropbox?

I just checked and it allowed me to share a doc via email. The earlier builds of Dropbox required OI File Manager to manipulate certain files (as does the gmail app)

If you are using the gmail app, it will extend the usefulness of the app to install OI. There are several other 3rd party apps that use OI's function to access files, so it's a good tool to have on the phone.

I thought that I was using the latest one as it came from the market but you never know. I will look up that OI thing but found a different sollution - Droidbox free - it may only let me upload 20 files but it works and I will only need to upload 5 at most at the time when I'll have no net access. Thanks!
