I recently started working at a used video game store and have been noticing a bunch of games that I'd like to buy down the road. The only problem is, I see so many that they're easy to forget. I don't really want to pull my phone out and have to scroll through my apps to find Evernote or something to be able to take a name down during work, so I'm looking for something a little specific.

If I could have an app that allows a widget on one of my homescreens that displays my text and a quick tap of it would allow me to edit it, that would be great. Same goes for looking at the hours that I work and taking them down. It would all be quick and sloppy (like grabbing a piece of scrap paper and noting something) but I could have it cluttering my homescreen so I would remember to sort it all out when I get home.

Does such an app exist?

Try Sticky Memo Widget Pro. Its great, simple to use, and has a bunch of different sizes. They also have a free version.

Which one you using? There are a few different whiteboard apps.

How about simplicity without a widget? I'm thinking those game boxes have barcodes, right? So I'd suggest using one of the shopping apps. For example, Google Shopper allows you to keep a saved listing.

I'm thinking all you would have to do is launch Google Shopper, scan the barcode, and save it as a favorite for later. The only issue is if it can't match the barcode to the product then your back at square one.

Anyway, if you find a note app you like, I'd suggest using speech to text to take notes instead of the keyboard.

Easy Note is free. supports handwriting, text type.

HOWEVER, if you want records on steroids, google MEMENTO... supports barcode scanning, stores lists of things you already have, things you want, anything you want in self assigned and named categories.

I keep my DVD/Blue Ray collection handy with it, and so I can verify I do not already own what I'm about to add to my "wishlist"

Just started using it, but seems to work well, with more features than most apps allow for.

You can try JotPad.

I created it myself. its as simple as you can get with a notepad.

This is the first release with the widget coming soon. It will enable users to view all notes on one widget by navigating through the pages.
