I use Aldiko ebook reader to read books and that uses the epub format.I also have alot of books in .lit so i use a program on my pc to convert them into epub, the program is called Calibre and will convert just about any format into any other format.

calibre - E-book management

Ive looked and i dont think there is a ebook reader on the android market that will read .lit

I know people that use Calibre to convert Project Gutenberg books to Kindle format so I would recommend doing the same.

apparently the ebook reader 'wordplayer' works with Calibre - i.e. you can use wordplayer to access your calibre library on your computer.

I have yet to try wordplayer though - gonna give it a go today

Does anyone know how to convert epub books with calibre to the Kindle app format? I have tried a bunch of different ways, but the Kindle app keeps force closing when I load them into the app. i really like the Kindle app's interface and how its setup.

not sure i am hijacking this thread, but i would like to use e reader SW to read lots of large pdfs I have. The native pdf reader is ok to look at a page or 2, but many of my pdfs run from 10-150 pages. The native reader is horrible for this.
