I see no method to sign up via the Facebook page, nor do any of the links on the LiveProfile homepage seem to work.

edit...there is a submission of your email address, but all you receive is a generic "In the coming weeks" disclaimer.

What makes this different to the several other options out there?

With an app such as this there needs to be no competition otherwise it cannot work. BBM works because everyone on BB has BBM. One of these apps really needs to stand out for EVERYONE to get on board.

Whatsapp looks very similar to this and is already available on BB and iPhone with Android on the way.
kik is another available on all three platforms.

This certainly looks the part but it's off to a false start with others already being available..

I am using it so there is some truth in his post. I do admit that invites don't seem to come through instantly. I waited a few hours and my girlfriend waited a day. Did you guys try signing up on the website itself rather than the Facebook?

and does whatsapp or kik have group chat? that's kinda the important thing that i've used on bbm
