Hey everyone,

Just went out and purchased 'The Army and Vietnam' through my Kindle for PC app. Then I logged onto my Kindle for Android app and the book won't appear.

Why are some books on Amazon not compatible with its own app on Android!?

Anyone know how to get the book onto my N1 so that I can read it on the way to work?

I believe that you have to go back on Amazon and download the book to your Android or do the downloading from your phone. I haven't put any on my phone yet, but this is how it works for my Kindle and my iTouch. When you download a book, it doesn't automatically appear on every Kindle device and app that you have.

Yes. You have to resync the app on the phone. This pulls your list of books from Amazon. You can then pick what books you want to download.

I don't know if this is the same problem, but I use the PC kindle as well as the Android Kindle and for some reason ever since I installed the PC kindle I can't get books to download to my Android. I have a droid eris. It keeps saying invalid book. But I can read it through the pc app. Doesn't make any sense, I've deregistered my device and re-registerd to no avail. Any ideas?

Or one can just download to the PC, remove the DRM, copy them to the phone and read them with Aldiko.
