added a quick demo video of our upcoming Android Infrared (IR) Remote. Initially it will support a full IR dbase of 300,000+ IR codes, IR learner for any code not in the dbase, Pre-Built GUI so it is simple to setup. Does they X have IR? I know the Droid doesn't and that's what I have.

there is a hardware component that does the IR. it is wifi to the hardware component. see our iphone version for instructions on everything. basically the same thing.

I get how it works and I like the idea.
phone send commands to the hardware via your network assuming your TV is somewhere near your router of course since it is not wireless
hardware sends IR or RS232 etc to your devices

I would prefer a solution that did not require and $449 hardware component, and is wireless and is available in the UK!
