Disable "The quick reply message sent!" on Handcent SMS?

I've been using Handcent SMS on my EVO for quite some time now, and I just recently decided to try out the quick reply pop up window. It is very useful for me, but when replying to multiple messages continually, the notification, "The quick reply message is sent" gets on the way of the keyboard. Is there any way to disable this? Thanks!

settings>notifications>enable popup (uncheck)

wouldn't that also disable the popup that shows incoming messages?
