I'm looking for a notes/task app that has a widget that will show me the tasks I have set on my home screen, preferably no bigger than 2x2 or 4x1

Any other apps like that, the newer version of Astrid seems to not work as well as it doesn't display new tasks or will sometimes display them out of order.

I actually like it a lot, the only issue is that the alert just gives a message in the notification bar, it doesn't play any tone.
Is there any way to make it play an audible alert?

Agenda Widget.

It allows you to add multiple calendars and tasks. I use my Google Calendar and Astrid, and it puts everything in one widget window. It can be skinned and customized, and it allows for custom audible alerts for each calendar/task list.

^ I used that but thought it was not pretty, lol, no matter how I customized it. I like the old version better.

Now I use smooth calendar widget along with jorte as my main calendar app.
