Hellz yea!!! Get MusicMod. Its great. You can even tweet the song your playing from your phone. Great widget, and gestures to control music controls.

My wife has the same phone. I just installed Mixzing for her this morning since it supports m3u playlist files. I like the stock player but I can't seem to get it to recognize playlists.
