Alright the markets up and running again, when I open appbrain it says there's an update for flash player 10.1, when i go to update it says " request page cannot be found". I also noticed when I search for flash player in the MARKET nothing will come up, but it comes up when I search thru appbrain any advice?...

Because the update doesn't exist in the market.

If links there are confusing - maybe this will help; was posting from phone before and I was therefore terse.

Didn't want to link to an xda's guy's source directly as I'd considered that bad cricket.

You want the mediafire source as shown in post 26 over there:

xda-developers - View Single Post - Adobe flash 10.1 non-beta apk from N1?

My download (via phone) and update went without incident.

Thanks! Installing now using Astro File Manager.

EDIT: Quick question. Can I delete the file from my SD card when I'm done updating?

From the download folder? Yes - but, I first make sure I have my SD card backed up to my laptop before deleting this sort of thing - because you just never know.

Just usb your phone to your PC - you should get a nice drop down asking what you want to do - select Disk drive.

Then it will show up on your PC as would any usb thumbdrive.

Create a save folder over there, copy all from sd card/paste all to PC.

Safely remove/eject SD card as usb drive.

On phone, pull down notifications bar - where it says Disk drive - tap that. The choice dialog re-appears - choose now Charge only.

Now you can safely unplug your phone from you PC.

Next part, do not take as me talking down to you, because an intelligent friend of mine didn't know this about her Droid: the usb cable included with your charger unplugs from your charger/wall dongle - you don't need a new cable.

And this advice is good for OS X and Win.
