Talking is there a phone keypad keyboard app?

i find the phone key pad better than QWERTY/compact QWERTY bec i do most of my texting one hand..

i'm using HTC_IME right now but its still slow to me.. it highlights the words while typing..

i tried betterkeyboard, touchpal, swiftkey, and a lot of keyboard apps but very few has the phone keypad keyboard on it.. and those who have it (betterkeyboard) responses very slow.. (sigh)

any suggestions guys? thanks!

You can change the key pad in the settings,

press menu > settings > language and keyboard > touch input > keyboard types > change to phone keypad.

Thanks, the Desire is new to me and I was looking for a way to change the layout. I (wrongly) assumed that the option would be on the keyboard itself. Saved me a lot of time, so thanks again!
