Default galaxy s not supported by samsung apps

"your mobile device is not supported by this application"

i'm receiving this message everytime i go to samsung apps via kies.
galaxy is not on the list of phones to choose?

although kies is detecting it as GT I9000 (is it correct?)

how can i access samsung apps? please help.

Had that problem too. I set up the samsung apps widget on my phone and went there from there. But you'll find there are only about 8 or 9 apps in there, at least from Australia anyway. I emailed them about it. All the apps you see on kies are apps for the BADA OS, not Android. They expected to add more android apps as time goes on. But yeah, not much there I'm afraid.

Like what he said. (Apologies if you are a she instead.) The samsung app market in KIES is for Window Mobile and BADA only. No Android apps on there.

I'm sorry, but welcome to Samsung land. After you gave them your money, why should they do anything more for you? A lot of us "original" Galaxy owners realised this a long time ago, and some of us are done with Samsung for good.

Sorry, but this doesn't surprise me one bit.
