OK,
Got my Droid2 yesterday, very happy with my purchase. I notice whenever I get a notification, once I open the phone, there's really nothing to let me know what the notification is about.

For instance, every 10 mins or so I get a BZZ BZZ notification, but I cant figure out what its alerting me to. Its not email.

A push in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Do you know about your notification shade?

If you swipe your finger from the top of the screen down when it's unlocked, it will pull down a "shade" that has your notifications on it, and should tell you what's buzzing. There should be a representative icon on the shade when it's collapsed to tell you about it, but pulling the shade down will tell you more.

The notification shade may be the best single feature of Android. Glad you asked, because you would have been missing out going around not knowing!
