Default Any remote wipe (that'll wipe SD card also) app?

My pictures and documents on my SD card are far more important than any text message or calendar entries I have on my phone. Just wondering if there's anyway to remotely wipe the SD card as well.

YES! HTCSense.com will have the ability to remotely wipe the phone AND storage card. Jump to 7:00 in the video below and pause to read HTC's Warning message.

Good spot -- but what is this HTCSense.com?
I'm getting a 401 error (I have no account there) just to see the friggin' home page.

the site isn't live yet. it was announced along with the Desire HD last week. the Desire HD is rumored to come out in October so hopefully this HTCSense.com service will be up by then too.

It appears the sense www site is only for HTC phones, and I didn't get whether or not it will wipe the whole phone.

I want a solution that would work on more than one brand of phone and when I look at some kill

The WaveSecure reads like it will wipe out data on the card but the www site does not read like it makes a totally useless phone the way Blackberry's tools do.

for remote wiping purposes I can only recommend Theft Aware - in the latest version it doesn't only wipe. its also the only software that overwrites random parts of the SD so a restore isn't possible.

If this worked it would be great. I cant get it to locate my sensation even though I do get a gps icon on my phone. I cant get it to remote lock my phone either. It will remotely play a little jingle, yay. I'm not even trying the remote wipe feature though, pos software

I believe Lookout has that ability. And if you have already lost the phone and need to do it then Plan B should work. I don't know if it's true but I have seen quite a few people say it worked for them.

Seekdroid is inexpensive and allows remote card wipe.

Plan B is free, can be installed AFTER you lost your phone (or had it stolen), and can remotely locate and/or wipe the phone and/or wipe the SD card for you.

It doesn't get much better.

Prey Project is an open-source alternative I am planning on trying, though I have yet to use it. But hear good things about it.
