Question Sprint Hero IM - AIM buddies missing?

On my Sprint Hero's native IM app I can sign into AIM just fine but only 1/3 of my buddies show up... I thought this might be a common problem but can't find any mention of it anywhere... am I missing something? It's not that offline buddies are hidden.

EDIT: I'm aware of Hi AIM and the other third-party apps available but would rather use the native one if I can get it to work (I hardly touch AIM on the phone, just need to use it every once in awhile). Also, I have the 1.56 update.

Default Aim missing buddies

Hello all I just got my Sprint Hero yesterday, so far love it, I am having the same problem with AIM, only a very small portion of my buddies are showing up, any luck on solving this one.

i think it is more than just the phone, all the phones i'v had do that with the AIM feature, not sure if can only handle 30 or so, or if you have a seperate phone friends list, or someting else, but my instinct is like that right now too

I don't know, I have had many phones and this is the first one I have had this problem with, the phone I just switched from the HTC Diamond had no issues with loading all my buddies and I use it quite extensively at work I have over 300 buddies and they all loaded.

Download the new AIM client that AOL released today. Has Facebook chat integration. It's nice.

On your phone. Go to the marketplace and search aim. Download the official AOL one. YOu need the desktop one for the Facebook integration.
