Android ApplicationsAll the information you could ever want about Android Applications. Learn about apps and get help with them... all here! New apps can be found and announced in the Applications Announcements forum linked below.
I've searched far and wide, and I've yet to find a comprehensive list of all of Google's apps for Android. Specifically, ones that can be downloaded from the Marketplace.
But that list is problematic. First, it includes apps that are integrated into the OS and can't be downloaded, such as Contacts and Calendar. Second, it's far from complete. Off the top of my head, I know it's missing My Tracks, Voice Search, Sky Map, Translate...
Here's my list so far:
Google's apps available for Android:
Google Search
Gmail
Goggles
Shopper
Maps
Youtube
Google Buzz Widget
Voice
Finance
Earth
My Tracks
Voice Search
Sky Map
Translate
Listen
Animal translate (n/a anymore)
Bundled/integrated with another app:
Places
Latitude
Navigate
Integrated into the OS and can't be downloaded:
Talk
Contacts
Calendar
Alarm (will be downloadable in the future, according to this)
Browser
Many many more... (lets not list them all, there are dozens)
I understand that there may be regional and device-specific restrictions here and there, but I still think it would be useful to have a complete list.

In my line of thinking (and im no expert on this) since what youre looking for is a list of all the apps that can be downloaded, in what the droid commercials call an "ever expanding market" of apps, its gonna be impossible. I'd be willing to bet every minute some new app is uploaded into the market, which would mean the list would have to be updated at an equal rate. The closest things that come to this off the top of my head are websites like appbrain and the "apps" section of this website (located in white font up at the top between "phones" and "forum") where you can search for the specific kinds of apps you want.
Sorry.

Sorry.
Actually, he is just referring to the apps that Google makes, and they do not push out new apps on a weekly basis.

I don't understand the point of this thread?...you went with an android for what?...to use only apps made by google?...why not just get an iPhone?...there are a ton of good apps not made by google...yay to the free world!
DahLo, you've probably made an incorrect assumption. He never said he only wanted to use apps by Google. Rather, he may be like me. If I'm looking for an app I am more likely to use one by a credible source, like Google, than some developer I've never heard of. 99% of the devs on the app market I wouldn't know from them or a child molester.
Oh! yeah, my bad. TOTALLY did not get that... should've paid more attention to the list of apps you provided. I sorta just skimmed it...
As for a complete list, search the market for "google inc." and for the most part, everything there *should* be created by google. My market shows 125 results, but some of them are not specifically from google, such as Stardate, Note Pad, and DocumentsToGo. All the others, such as the ones labeled "Google Inc." right below the app title, are all made by google (I assume).
Actually, if you go to any Google made App in the App Market scroll down to "View More Applications" and it will show you all that are by Google. Problem solved.

Perfect! I think you solved this question!
I'm looking at it now and it's exactly what I was looking for. I'm finding apps I didn't even know about.. Thanks for your help!
