Default google app with own domain

Hi!

I hope anybody can help me for this question before I buy the g1.

I have my own Domain at google (http://www.google.com/a/cpanel/domain/new?hl=en)

I can login with my name@example.com and I have the Gmail App and also the Calendar. This is the same like the name@gmail.com account.

Work the g1 also with my name@example.com?

Thanks for helping!

I was able to, but I believe that I had to sign up with a Google Account using that e-mail address and then everything has worked since then. For some reason you can't just enter in the email address anywhere until you've signed it up as a Google Account as well (which I know it should be since it's going through Google Apps, but their systems must be separate)

I think I answered this on another forum you posted it on.

Googles' hosted domains work just fine with the Android. Just use your full email address for the logon (i.e. you@example.com) and your password and everything syncs just fine.
