Default Best podcatcher?

Any up-to-date info on a quality free podcatcher for Android?

Missing the simplicity of Symbian in this regard. And that is saying something.

well, that depends, update since when?

Personally, I use google listen & have been perfectly happy with it.

It took some getting used to at first (I was switching from itunes, which I still kinda miss for podcatching with my old ipod touch).

My biggest annoyance is that I sometimes miss podcasts because they disappear from my fresh items list before I listen, but this is easily fixed by manually adding them to my queue.

Thumbs up HAPI Podcast

I use HAPI Podcast which is pretty good, if a feed is not found by search you can add manually and you can set to download only when connected to wi-fi.

I use MyPod (there's a free version which is pretty good)

It's not the simplest of Podcast apps, but it works nicely.

I also miss the awesome Nokia Podcast app, which I think is about the only thing I do miss from my Nokia Days...

I tried most of the free ones, but in the end i bought DoggCatcher and it is well worth the money if it is your first purchase

Tried most of them but nothing I've found yet has stopped me using itunes and synching over wi-fi to the phone with iSynchr.

I use carcast. Simple, works well, downloads pods and then is offline.

Also, I had a problem manually adding a podcast. Emailed the developer and had a response within an hour with the podcast added to the list of available downloads. Very impressive.
