Is there a good music app which starts automatically when the headphones are plugged in?

Would love a good music app for my captivate which bypasses everything and immediately goes to the last song played and begins from there. Bypasses the unlock screen and any "last apps" I was using. A true "plug and play".... Is there such an app?

Right now i have to plug in the phones, unlock the phone, back out of my messenger or email program, select the music app, select the album or artist and then the songs... Its all a bit tiring if I do it somewhat frequently like in and out of the car...

I've never heard of one, but you could always request one here for a developer to pick up and try to make.

try out PowerAMP.. PowerAMP audio player !! it offers pause feature when u unplug and resume when you reinsert the headphones..

Tasker is your friend. You can easily configure Tasker so that the music player starts when you plug in your phones. In fact, when I plug in my headphones, I get a menu that pops up asking me which I want to play - XM app, MLB At Bat, Music player, Doggcatcher, or Pandora.

Tasker can't get the app to play though. The app would have to support that.

I've found the menu on headphone plugin very handy as well since I have more than one app for music.

The solution is TASKER, with that you can have ur phone do anything you can think of at anytime. you can set it to run the music player when you insert your headphones and much more

True, but it automates the whole process otherwise. You plug in your headphones and press play. That's it.

Anything that doesn't cost $6.50? I only need it to launch a music app and won't need any other features and that one feature isn't worth $6.50 to me. Something free that I could use for a while and make sure I like it before I donate ideally.
