Default Utter frustration with all Facebook apps

I am so disgusted with all of the Facebook apps and widgets. I'm also sick and tired of constantly being brought back to one FB app or another when I'm trying to just use the browser. Is there a way to disable all of the FB crap altogether and just use the browser?

Download Sociable. It is the best FB app out there right now. It even includes chat.

Yes, you can disable Facebook. Just set turn off the tissues and, bookmark the site of your choice. If you root, you could even delete it.

I am rooted, use TB and delete it? Not sure what the tissues are, should I use them to wipe away the tears of frustration?

As always, your mileage may vary. That being said, that has worked for me in deleting things from stock Froyo like the default Twitter app. You could even look at other ROMs. For example, Bugless Beast puts Facebook in the /data file (instead of /system IIRC), to make it delete-able like any other app.
