Default Activesynch with Exchange 2003 SP2

I have several Android users that have an interesting issue when they use ActiveSynch with Exchange 2003 SP2.

Everything is fine until they get to the part where they are synching Contacts. For some reason, Contacts for these users are being generated during ActiveSynch and once they reach over 50k, the server crawls to a halt. If I disable ActiveSynch for those users, server is fine.

I haven't seen this issue with my Blackberry or iPhone users.

Has anyone run into this before?

-Spike

Welcome to the Android Forums!

I've never personally encountered that but then again I've never had to deal with an end user and such a large number of contacts.

I've seen this issue reported here a number of times. I've yet to see an answer to it. I think Android's Enterprise support is just not there yet.

Not very many people do, but those who do have the issue. I think that's why it's not widely reported. When you get in the 50k range you have the problem. Very few people get there.
