Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a widget that shows the number of missed calls / text messages / emails?

I would prefer something that is text only.

If not, does anyone know a widget that can display text from a file on the SD card?

I could probably figure out how to use Tasker to generate the text file if needed.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Wow, nobody uses a widget for this? It seems like it would be pretty simple.

This is an old thread, so you've probably got it figured out by now but for the calls part, last call widget, includes incoming, outgoing, and missed calls. My droid X came with a stock texts/emails widget, so I haven't looked at what's available there.

Launcher Pro Plus puts the count of missed calls, unread sms, and unread email onto the dock icons.
