Hi All,

I am hoping someone can help because I am currently very frustrated! My problem is as follows ....

Android Version: 2.2
Phone: HTC Desire
Network: 3G

Issue: I decided to attend an event on facebook and my phone duly syned the event to my calendar. the event got changed so that it is every single day so now it appears in my calendar every day. i decided i did not want it clogging up my calendar. i have tried the following ......

• changing event status to not attending
• removing event from my facebook events
• clearing phone data for facebook and facebook for htc sense

i have tried all of these with every combination of deselecting/reselecting facebook calendar within calendar app (it is the standard app that comes with android 2.2) and refreshing calendar. none of these are getting rid of this event. i would have thought clearing facebook data and refreshing calendar would get rid of all facebook events in my calendar but they remain. the only other option i can think of is to clear my calendar data but i don't really want to do this as i don't want to lose all the events i have entered myself. i don't just want to deselect facebook calendar as i want to be able to see my other events. i have had a look at various thread on a load of forums but have not found a solution.

any ideas?

geez...i found your problem while searching my problem and i have posted in this same site forum as well with nobody helping me and i see nobody helping you.
i got some fake offer of an event on facebook which i did not open...it was some stupid crap fake thing about some girl getting prison time relating to a facebook status.
but it started showing up as an event on my captivate and every time i go into my calendar it shows at top as a scrolling facebook item that does not allow me to delete it or change it etc. i deleted it long ago on facebook but no luck on getting it to go away on my captivate smart phone. it says it will last as an event for a mth. irritating as all hell. let me know if you get a solution please.

I encounter similar problem as well... my calendar shows one day in advance of my fb fren's birthday. can someone help me to solve this problem???
