Default via Facebook for Android

Everybody likes their andriod phone, and wants everybody too know that they are using one. So how come now when posting on facebook through your phone it just says via mobile web.

Agreed. This doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to accomplish.

because you have to get the facebook app from the android market, then when you post something, it will say "via facebook for android."

if you are just using your phone's browser and going to facebook.com you will get "via mobile web"

I use the app from the market, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Today it does. Will see what tomorrow brings.

Default still says via mobile..

I have 2 apps on my Optimus Elite (Android phone)... one is Facebook for Android and the other is Stream for Android. I use both. The FB for Android app says via mobile when I update my status. The Stream for Android app says via Stream for Android. How can I get the FB app itself to say via Android instead of via mobile.? It's frustrating. I never use the web browser on my phone either.... so.

Theres an app called Status Via i think that lets you select what it says from a list like "via your moms bed" etc lol and i think the pro version lets u write your own Via

I'm not sure why this is important. However, I've been noticing the only status updates that seem to have the device type are Blackberry. I wouldn't doubt BB pays for that ad placement.
