Default Interested in Paypal/Amazon Payments?

We have a site to allow users of apps to pay using Paypal and Amazon (mobpaynet.com - Android Piracy Protection, In-app purchase, Subscriptions, and More!). It's an SDK based platform used as an in-app purchase. It opens the app to new countries that Google Checkout does not offer. It also has a much wider user base (Paypal and Amazon have very large user bases). We also offer different types of app payment options. You can setup subscriptions, time based (non-recurring subscriptions?), or feature unlocks (unlock all or portions of your app).

Still in Beta and basically trying to see of folks are interested. Check it out at mobpaynet.com, free to sign up. Let us know if this is something you find useful.

I have some questions on how it works. So, if a developer use this as an option to sell their apps, it'd would be outside of the market? How would the update work? And what's the price cut for the developer to use this service?

Default Questions about updates

The SDK is embedded in your within the market. So updates to your app are published as usual. The difference is your free app would have full functionality with a unlock check to determine if user gets paid features. Unless of course you are doing donations only.

If you wanted us to store your apk we could. But you would have to hook in an update check to your app. We're very flexible since we are new and agile and if the ppl wanted it we could add that to SDK (to check your current app version against our servers and notify of download).

The current price cut is 80% to developer. However, this is waived during our beta period so we only charge what PP/AWS charges. Our goal is to keep our cut as small as possible. If ppl like the service we will add other a la carte services as well.

Also working on hooking in game cards and other payment options.

Hope that helps.
