Default text editor widget

Hello,

I'm surprised that I couldn't find any text editor widget?

I spend a lot of time in txtpad, mostly to manage a to-do list that I keep filling and emptying. So i'd like to have it on one of my home screens (currently I have to run txtpad app everytime I want to access the list).
I found some "sticky notes" apps but every time I have to click the note, enter text, then save. I'd prefer having a big text field with blinking cursor all the time, a scrollbar and the keyboard, on the home screen.
In fact it seems I can find widgets for everything except simply tiping text...?
The best app I could find is called "sticky memo widget lite" but it still sucks.

Any idea?

That would be cool.

At the mo I use Jota text editor & can change what it opens to (file browser, file or new text) so that it opens up whatever I want. if I have a documents folder on the homescreen I can open a file & choose a default app that opens it.

For other 'to do' things there is any.do, which is a widget & can have notes but you still need to click on the title to access the notes associated with it.

I fear such a widget like you suggest might be a garish iphone style app with comic - sans font & lines!

Maybe if you can port the Samsung S-Note app.
