(stuff you dont have to read>> So i have a friend who gave me her mytouch 3g for free since she bought a new phone. I used to have the first samsung gravity so this was a great thing! after it was already activated and what not i put in my SIM changed the wallpaper, contacts etc..)

The problem is that i cant seem to download any apks files like ASTRO or anything using the wifi (obviously i cant use the market as it prompts me to put in her password for her gmail account). When i go to download the file it prompts the same message about her password. I turned off the 3g went only 2g and even put in a different APN and still get the same login popup is there a way to get apps from my computer to my phone or to phone directly?

its probably just worth doing a factory reset and logging in for everything under your name. that way you can set everything up as you want.

Yep, do a factory reset, and you will be able to login with your gmail. And FYI, if you dont have a data plan, dont use 3g or 2g, you will get charged. Just stay on wifi.
