Try downloading an app called GPS Status. Hit menu>tools>manage a-gps state then reset and download.

Ok found the solution when I first opened the app the GPS wasnt on and figured you can turn it on and then it will detect my location. You have to have the GPS on before turning on the app works perfect now.
