Awesome app, instantly replaced my default browser.

Only thing i'd like more is better orientation of the . and the / keys. A little bit nicer keyboard too, the enter and delete are really close to each other.

Other than that, awesome!

Yeah it doesn't seem to work for me either... the other problem i was having was that the keyboard wasn't really responsive... maybe its just my particular G1...

I'm guess I'm not as impressed as everyone else with this browser.

The rotation is the only thing I like about it. It takes long enough to start up that I thought there was an issue.

The softkeys are barely responsive to me. I have to tap the back/forward/bookmark buttons 2-3 times to get them to respond.

I just tried typing my name and the keyboard is too small for me -- and I don't have big hands by any stretch of the imagination.

**update**

Still not a fan. I'm trying to type in "icanhascheezburger.com" and the "e" "r" and "w" aren't working correctly. I'm tapping "R" and it's doing that blowup "R" but it's not typing anything. Keep trying, keeps blowing up, but not typing the "r". Sometimes it's typing the "E" instead. Keyboard needs to be way bigger and have bigger keys before it'll be useful for me.

I tried it it wasn't so bad it is more the issue with real estate. I am getting the message every couple of days saying low space. So untill all the bugs are worked out and/or there is a way to run apps from the card I can't afford to have 2 browsers.

keys are to small and loading is not always better then the default. It is nice to see that the developer is making changes and really trying to make it better though.

I cleared tons of applications that I had and geez this phone is really speedy when not being weighed down.

It's a good app and I use it often and yes it does have alot of potential...Although still not good enough for a replacement to the stock browser just yet.... few more tweeks in my humble opinion....

I always thought - why would the G1 have 2 vibrating engines... maybe for proximity touch or to make things feel more realistic and balanced - so now we are "getting" it

Yes, my bookmarks have vanished a few times now. It never happened before the latest update, which is a shame cause the latest update really fixed everything else that was keeping me from using it over the standard browser. Losing my bookmarks is a big deal though. I'm sure it will be fixed quickly.

How did you update?

If you went Market>search>Steel>install, that will always dump all your user settings/data. If you just browse the market and install, same issue.

It seems the only way to do updates, and keep your user data is to go Market>My Downloads> and then scroll through the list to the program that needs an update. "Installed" programs are all up to date, "Free" programs are either programs you uninstalled, or programs that have an updated waiting.

One more thing. Steel used to have word wrap didn't it? It doesn't now and I swear it used to! If it does, how do I get it back?
