Default Android Emulator for the PC

Is there an Android Emulator that I can use on my PC? There are some apps that I like to try out before putting them on my Evo.

Thanks

Aren't those game console emulators to run ON the android device? The OP wants to run android programs on a PC. YouWave does seem the way to go. Nice find myers6mm

There are several emulators for android on the PC. The android sdk (official development software, extremely slow, not user friendly if u don't know much about computers), youwave, bluestacks, virtualbox, and vmware, to name a few.
