Cricket blows! I thought it was a godsend when I saw that afterstock messaging apps like Handcent and GoSMS have the capability of splitting texts when they get too long for CDMA users. Too bad this is 110% useless because if A message exceeds 150 characters, cricket won't let it send. So I either have to manually send the texts at that mark if I'm sending long texts, or the recipient will get only the 2nd half of the message and I have to resend the first text with less characters .. generally impossible to do without obscuring the context of the message itself.. what the hell..

this was one of the MAJOR features I wanted when I changed from the stock messenger app and I can't even use it. I don't know what to do I'm so pissed off about this! It's something that should be simple as hell to fix but it isn't.

Handcent splits its texts at 160, so even if you do a Simple Split (no 1/2, 2/2 headliner in the text), it's too long.

GoSMS splits at 150, which is great, but there's no option to remove the (1/2) and (2/2) marks so it becomes a few characters more than 150 and fails to send.

My only option atm is to beg my ass off to the GoSMS devs to implement the option to remove the headliners. Unfortunately the devs arent native to english so they might not have a clue what feature i'm asking for

Send them an email. I dont know that they will respond but they seem to add features very fast.

i haven't bothered to check it out but I'm going to just train myself to send the texts before they get past the limit so it doesnt bug me so much

-but i've read that chomp isnt substantially better and I have a terribly slow huawei ascend
