Hi
(probably this have been asked a lot here, before, but I didn't found it)
I'm new to android and I've discovered that, when I send a mms with a photo attached, the message is sent with a photo with around 200Kb.
I would like to know how can I configure my messaging application so it reduces the photo to a smaller size.
Some help would be great.

I think you will need to install Handcent, free from the Market, as this allows you to adjust your MMS sizes.

I couldn't find a way of doing it on the stock, built-in, Android Messaging app.

and, will it be possible to uninstall or disable the default messaging app from android?

Yes.

You can just disable the settings from the stock version (but not able to uninstall it).
