Default RECEIVE Bluetooth Audio a2db

There are plenty of apps for sending audio over bluetooth to an external sound system such as the car or home stereo. I'm looking to do just the opposite. My goal is to play PS3 or watch TV at night without bothering anybody. I want to buy a bluetooth transmitter I can connect to the TV's Audio Out, and pick it up with my Android phone. I'd effectively be turning my normal earbuds into bluetooth headphones. I would assume I'd need some sort of app to play the stream, correct? If anything like this already exists or is built into Android already, please let me know! Thanks.

I love a keyboard that allows one to handwrite a text message, then the keyboard (or rather not a keyboard anymore) will convert into text. Similar, or rather almsot exactly like Google's new handwriting search function on tablets and mobile phones. To turn that into a keyboard would not only be fun to use, typos would almost be a thing of the past!

An app that works in combination with desktop software. Basically, you can stream music from your phone to your computer via WiFi, which then plays it through its speakers. We'd only have to store music on our phones then.

Also a natural display calculator with natural input and such. I have no idea why people want to emulate a button-based calculator on a touchscreen, but it seems that that is all you can get on Play so far.

I've got the easiest app idea ever. And yet, there just isn't one of these out there.

I run a college club. We go to events and people sign up for our mailing list. When I get home, I add them to the club email account, and I have to throw out half of them because people can't write worth a damn.

All I want is an app with two fields, Name and Email, and one button that says "Add Me."

People enter their name. They enter their email address. They press "Add Me". Their name and email address are dumped into a text file. The text file would have the date for a name, and anyone logged that day would be added to the end of the text file.

I'd still want to import them manually so the occasional moron trying to be funny won't clutter up our email address book.

It would also be nice if you could customize the background for your organization.

This would literally take someone a half hour to make. I just don't know anyone who knows how to do it.

There are sites out there offering a "service" that does this, but you pay a fee and they get the emails and store them and you retrieve them. Screw that. I'm not trying to track the Katy Perry Fan Club. Just a couple hundred college students.

I need an app that writes apps. I say an idea into the microphone, and it writes an app that does exactly what I want, is compatible for all Android versions and phones, sets up a developer account and PayPal account, and sends me checks every day because my apps ideas are amazing and I deserve money for them.

What sites offer the service? Just trying to get an idea on what else they may provide of value.

Try the Google Voice voicemail service. I don't know if it can block, but you can set specific greetings for different groups. You don't need to use the optional Google Voice phone number either.

Just a random idea....an app that u can use to tell your height or close estimate.
1 feature could be *place phone on floor then on your head* then the sensors in the phone work out how tall u are.
Another feater could be placing an object that the phone recognises next to the person whose height is being estimated the phone then knows what to compare the person to in height difference.

Also an app that allows you to play files through usb on xbox and usb tv...so far i have found nothing that works

I am very curious why would you want to use an Android smartphone to approximate height? Usually when we measure height we are going for medical checkup stuff. For others, there is a marking specify the height and you measure against that marking.

It open up my eyes on all sorts of requests from user. I remember someone want to measure weight of the envelope and contents by putting it on top of the screen so they know how much postage to buy for. At this new era, we still go posting envelope? I thought nowadays we use postage for more bulkier items than envelope?

Well, no one carries measurement tools with them everywhere they go, but they do carry their phones. Their smartphones.

How about the "Bing live wallpaper", which will check daily bingwallpaper, download it and set it as wallpaper, just like bing desktop can do.

Thumbs up My app idea

In this day and age, property owners can get pretty pissy about property boundaries. Id like to see a land survey app.

On the south border of my 13 acres, is a house, 18 feet on my land. Long story short, its been a pissing match on the property line. Basically, they pull stakes on one corner of our property, to "move" their house off our land.

Its $700 to have that one 800' edge surveyed. Its rediculous. So, as close as gps accuracy is, I hereby ask the app gods for a surveyors app.. something close anyway.

Ps. Next time our land is surveyed, we are putting concrete and re-rod 6 feet deep. I hope they break their arms trying to dig it up to move it, lol

Default Desired App: Geochron with world time

Have never found this on the Play store.

Looking for a standard Geochron - world map laid out flat with the moving line that shows what part of the world is in sunlight and what part is in daylight - that will also show world time.

Ideally, it would be working geochron that would allow to either mouse over major cities or cities of your choice to show local times.

A wikia veiwer for gaming wikia such as MHF3 OR kingdom hearts. An equalizer that forces music to lower volume instead of stopping when getting notification tones ie spotify/Pandora.

Wifi app that allows the use of upnp and dmz.

2 ideas, one for grocery database+shopping list and loads, second for searching property of your choice (rental or buying)

Grocery (this is cross post from another thread that I commented on )-
To be very precise about groceries, my approach is little different, an idea, if anybody wishes to capitalize on it. The requirements/features are as follows -
- App can get product information by reading a barcode. It will be great if it can get information on generic products from Walmart to Costco. It will also be great if it can pull some info from database instead of just googling.
- Makes a database of groceries already in your storage.
- Gives user an option to record the price paid for the product and rating. In this economy, it makes sure that the user gets cheapest possible price (I apologize to those who work in supermarkets) and they don't buy the product again that they didn't like in the first place. This has happened with me a few times. I always try new ice cream flavors. Once bought Pistachio flavor and felt like eating a chemical factory !! So when user scans product in the store, a pop up shows up telling the price paid for the quantity and its rating by the user.
- When the product stock at home is over, you just add it to 'the list'.
- There is also an option for the user to make a master list of their choice (for fruits, veggies and similar stuff), from which they can add stuff to their 'to buy list'.
- It offers an option to sync it with google drive or something which eventually can be synced to spouse's phone.
- If there is any free database of coupons, it will be great if the app can attach itself to that database and can pull the coupons as per your list. I never use coupons but to those who use it, it will be a great option so that they can print them.

Honestly, there are many many apps for grocery shopping list but none take into account that you do have stuff at home too and many a times, you don't know whats at home and you keep getting it. Inventory Droid seems to have addressed this problem but (apart from crashing frequently) he doesn't take into account pricing and shopping list factor.
There is one called as Mighty Grocery but it is nothing but just a master list of stuff with genetic names, doesn't take into account inventory at home and pricing factor.
Shop-n-Stock is also great app but their goal is make you do shopping through the app so pricing is not their priority.
Many others I tried, had some or the other drawback.

In this economy when everyone is pinching penny (if you are not among the one, may be you should learn a lesson before its too late), this app will be a hit.

Second about searching a residential property,
I have tried many websites and/or apps for searching property of my choice. Now that housing market is down, I thought, its perfect time, I buy house of my dreams but all apps are pathetic in one way or other. None reflect realtor's website.
Zillow is a good start app but they miss a major point, school district. Those of us, who have kids, school district is the MAJOR factor. Its so major that for the sake of school district, I am currently living in a poorly constructed apartment complex.
I agree that this idea does not sound very interesting as most likely there is no database of school district boundaries (but how realtors do it then? manual data entry?) but if there is such app, I will happily pay for it.

Any takers?

Default Word warp

There's a game my father has on his iphone that I fell in love with, and I've been looking for all over the place. I even wrote to the developers, but got no responce.

It's called WORD WARP, and it's GREAT. It's not like other word games out there and I really like it. I even asked my brother (who has developed apps for the iphone) if he could take it and make it for Android, and he said it's very difficult.

Hello people, im not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here we go.
Few months ago i had an idea for an application, mostly a recompilation of ideas, im a rower, and in the team im training there are several other rowers that uses technology to evaluate every training day. But im not very pleased with them, id like an appliaction wich combines other devices utilities.

GPS related(most ideas taken from garmin forerunner 610):
-Display instant Speed (updated every second or so).
-Display distance covered (not straight line beetwen start and end point, draws the path, adding checking-points every X seconds)
-Once ended the training, download it to a PC and draw the Path on some map, with the time spent on parts of the course, and the average speed on them.

Rowing training Related (taken from average Stroke Counter):
-Stroke-counter (can be implemented from the accelerometter almost every Smarthphone have one)
-Stroke-Rate (idem previous, study possibility to implement the idea on the 3rd point of the GPS related utilities, showing average Strokes/min on the diverse parts)
-Program workout segments(time of workout, saving all the data: speed, stroke-rate, metters covered, and path, also program the resting time after each workout segment).

So far i think most of those things are doable, im a systems analyst and do most of my work on java (programming), i have been developing some things. My main concern is... the GPS, i dont have a smarthphone, but i have been told they are pretty inaccurate, making the speed calcs, and "path drawer" unreachable, so it deppends aswell on the smarthphone in use.

Well thats my idea... id love to get any feedback on the issue. And possible solutions

I'd work on that for you, sent you a PM

Default Need 2 Time Zone auto change clock

Looking for a dual clock widget like an option that is preinstalled in the HTC EVO. DUal Clock, left clock always shows "home" time. Left clock shows time at current location and changes automatically when you travel. Anyone know of any Widgets that do that? I can't find one. For Developers... what a great idea. I know I'd pay for such a widget.

An app that can extracts all words of photo shot document, & convert it into a proper word/pdf document, instead of just pasting the actual document photo like Cam scanner
1) Take picture of doc
2) App will copy all words in the photo (eg: newspaper article)
3) App helps paste words in proper word/pdf document

2- An app that unlocks phone similar to Samsung's unlock system, which is just sliding finger in any directions instead of single horizontal slide

Default An offline GPS radar compass which guides us from current location to the target without any map....

i am looking for a specific kind of Gps App in which there is a radar compass a simple one
which is able to connect to the satellites where there is no need for the network or data connection.
this app works on points depicted on the radar by ted manually bya dot consisting of a coordinate address which can both be saved as a current location
or inserted manually as N-E degree minute second format through private looking through other browser
In short there is table whose content as coordinates fan bensaved manually. this radar compass gadget on our screen shows
the direction of our target point and the distNce between us which comes to decreasing as we head
to our target.these two informations are enough for a good navigator to find places in the city

i know many of you cant understand what and why im talking about when market is filled with so many products
selling gps services maps compasses etc and so on so forth. i just want a nokia n97 kr e90 communicator like
gps compass built in app that shows the direction of our target and current distance from it wiyh a added
magnetic compass to it. its very very easy in this gmaps and sygic age where they always navigate in wrong direction
Its a strange fact that on market nobody thought ot such an app.The reasonmay whatever be. Kindly suggest....
i have tried many places but today im trying to put this issue in different forums since i couldnt get the reply

Brandnew forum member here. Stumbled upon this category.
Wished there was a financial app specially suitable for expats, travelers, tourists to keep track of their (travel) expenses.
None of the apps I explored can handle multiple currencies.
So far I considered EasyMoney to be the best, but the developer doesn't seem to transform his app into my desired one.
I am aware of some of the many problems but yet I think a smart guy/girl can do it.

I give you a simplified example based upon a real situation I came across:
1. Together with my Indonesian partner I make a long trip through 8 countries with different currencies.
2. We want to keep track of our expenses and see if we meet our budget targets - if you travel for 3 months you have to budget and keep track!
3. We both pay in cash but also with both our creditcards: his card linked to an Indonesian bank account in rupiahs, mine to a Dutch one in euro's.
4. In each country we withdraw the local money usually (only) through an ATM machine.
5. We would like to monitor our expense day and trip totals in Euros, since that is the currency used by our main bank.

An app like EasyMoney is an offline app, so it can not handle the currency rate fluctuations: if I today withdraw 3.000.000 indonesian rupiahs and spend them all, I spent € 253,48 and if I do the same a week later it might be € 244,68.
In fact at the moment you withdraw through the ATM you don't know the day rate, that comes only when you review your bank statements - usually online and fast.

To add all kinds of currencies up, there must be ONE base currency.
I would already be quite satisfied if one application can do that, based upon the currency rates downloaded or manually entered at the beginning of the trip. Then there is at least a good INDICATION of the total expenses. Finetuning can take place afterwards: as soon as the real day rate for a specific withdrawal or credit card expense is known, you can manually 'override' the amount that the app has calculated and fill in the actual amount paid to your bank etc.
Or, in case of a major shift in the rates (a currency strongly going up or heavily falling down) a new online update of the rates the app will use, should be possible, which only affects the future spendings, not the previous ones.

Anyone? ;-)

Please take a look at GPS Essentials and see if it fits your bill. Nowadays there are tons of phones where you can use GPS without data.

1) doesn't currently work with Mac OS X -- add that.
2) add support for remote devices that support Bluetooth BIP (specifically, the ability of a BIP device to remotely display its screen).

Now you can remotely display another device's screen on your Android device, and use your keyboard to type on it, and use your screen as a trackpad for it.

And, one more: make it so that Android can support Bluetooth HID and BIP as well, so that you can port that app to run on Windows/Mac/Linux, and remotely control your Android phone from your desktop or laptop computer.
very good idea.

Have you ever wondered what the rainfall is and if you log your own records what other guys around you get?

This Idea came when I searched Playstore and found No hits, not one. This might be because no one on earth cares about amount of rainfall statistics, if that is the case then this idea can be regarded as web trash...

But I have an need for being able to log it on my phone and comparing stats with others

The idea of the app is that you upload your data as rainfalls and other users do the same, not only will it be convenient and quick to use android for this but if uploaded to the web, others can access regional data and check different locations rainfall stats(map view maybe).

And the best of all is that once a few people constantly upload information it will escalate into an self sustaining application requiring minimal maintenance and updates.

How hard can it be to develop such an app?

If it sound like an epic fail, speak your mind...

I am sure there is some weather reporting website that tracks it. ABC7 tracks it. You can write them to see where they get their data from. If you are not in the US, sure your country's National weather bureau must be doing it.

Default Music app....

I would love to be able to play my music that is stored in my music folder without having the system play my WAV sound files that are stored in a separate folder. I use the WAV files for notification, etc. So far, I haven't found a way to keep the WAV files from not playing when listening to music.

How about an add on for Google Nav with different voice packages? Real voices. I am tired of the female Stephen Hawking telling me where to turn.

Default i desperately need an app....

i am a samsung galaxy s3 user. i bought the 16gb version of the pbone thinking that it should be enough as it also has a micro sd extendable space which can be extended upto 64gb. at that time i did not realise that this phone provides no option to install the apps on an external sd micro card. i downloaded many apps from google play and also sideloaded from various web sites. i also downloaded many grraphic extensive games which ate up almost all my space of the phone. i want an app which gives me ability to either directly install the apps on the external sd card or to transfer already downloaded apps from my internal to external card. i saw a walkthrough where transfer of sygic maps is given giving me an extra space of 1gb but what about space occupying large games. although even if i have to uninstall them and reinstall again i will manage but the solution should bensolid.......
kindly help

You may want to investigate the all things root subforum for your SGS3. Don't know offhand, but they have a mod there that will allow you to swap the definition of your internal and external sd cards. It's not at all unheard of.

Default New app idea for Clipboard sync

I have been searching for one app from very long time now.. My idea for a app is clipboard sync.. Its like the clipboard of my pc and mobile is shared.. either through internet/wifi.. or some notepad kind of thing.. when i copy and paste it on that window it should appear on the same type of window in my phone too.. Online sync.. then we can have option like whether we want to save them or something.. It will help most of the time as we need to copy some address/note from my pc to my mobile to send it as a message may be.. There are some apps on that regard.. evernote is too big with all those crap features which most of people do not use.. I could have done this but sadly i am not a developer .. point me to some app if its already there and i couldnt find it.. And if any developer came across this post please let me know if you are interested to make this app..

Lightbulb Save apps to check out later

I use the app "Pocket" to save articles to read later, but I want a service like Pocket for saving Android Apps on Google Play that look interesting but I don't have time to check out and install right away. I want to be able to save apps for me to look at later to decide if I want to install them. It would be nice if I could also save them from my desktop Chrome browser (like with the Pocket chrome extension).

I am currently using Pocket for apps as well as articles, but I would like a service made specifically for apps because my "Pocket" is getting bloated with lots of apps that I have to scroll past every time I want to read an article.

Thanks in advance
