What would you want out of a GPS app?

I am making an app called SafeFind that will allow you to text message your GPS location to friends and request their location. The location will open up in google maps and allow you to get directions to their location.

Any suggestions on ideas to include would be appreciated. I want to include a way of selecting friends to auto-allow to find your location. Here is what I have currently.

Law enforcement everywhere uses software like this to track whomever they want. Tens of thousands of times a day. The difference is their version of SafeFind sends an SMS that does NOT show up on the phone that it is sent to! But that phone returns its GPS location immediately.

I usually TELL people over the phone or SMS where I am, if appropriate. Much faster than any app. And I CAN use free 'Send My Location' via SMS or email to let someone know my exact GPS location. The need has never yet come up IRL, though.
