Question PDANet / G1 and a wireless home network?

Hi all,

new here but have been a reader for some time.

I'm trying to figure out if I can setup up a wireless network for my other laptops in the house to run off my desktop and my G1 usb tethered to PDANET?

In other words I have no cable or dsl but can I connect my lynksys wireless router to my desktop while it's connected to my G1 and somehow create a wireless network to share?

Thanks for any help.

Happy holidays to all!

Mark

Well the original post is a bit old, but just in case you haven't figured out the solution, I tried this on Windows Vista and it works great. You'll need a computer with a Wi-Fi adapter set to Ad-Hoc mode and you'll have to turn on internet connection sharing on PDA net. Some Wi-Fi adapters come with software that have an access point mode and they set it all up for you. Anyway keep at it, it does work.
