Default What is DCIM/.thumbdata3--1967290299

I just checked what needs most space on my SD-card

Surprise, Maverick uses up for the map cache only 10 MB,
but really big with 80 MB is

DCIM/.thumbdata3--1967290299

What application creates this?

I think this is created by your photos and videos on your phone. It's basically the thumb icons (the ones seen while browsng in the Gallery) I believe. I take it you have quite a few pics videos etc on your phone?

Only 21 photos and ond video in folder DCIM/Camera

But I have copied my web site on the phone, to have it always ready to show certain pages to people in discussions.

I did not have counted the photos on my web site,
but windows information shows 17063 files in 768 folders.

Maybe this is the reason why Maverick names pictures
in the cache

*.jpg.tile
*.png.tile

The added ".tile" prevents that all the map parts are indexed as photos.
