Default Need a better music player for podcasts

I have just got a samsung galaxy apollo on PAYG and am looking for a media player that works with podcasts. I do not use my phone for downloading podcasts, do that via iTunes. I copy all my podcasts from iTunes to a folder called podcasts on the micro SD card. The problem is that the supplied media player does not recognise podcasts correctly and puts all of them in the Album section. I can sub-selct them by going to Genre but its a pain.

What I want is to see all my music albums under Albums and all my Podcasts under Podcasts! Sounds simple. At best I have to click on Genre and select Podcast which is one click too many.

Any recommendations?

The problem you are going to have is that most podcast apps for android will want to download the podcast themself and if you set up virtual feeds then you will get a folder to put each podcast in and you will need to remember what folder # corresponds with each podcast. If you have a wifi connection when you are downloading podcasts I suggest just downloading them on the phone and take Itunes out. I personally use doggcatcher. The only issue you will have is finding the RSS feeds which isn't very hard at all. You can set it up only to download via wifi so you dont use a lot of mobile data.

thanks for the reply, it would just be REAL nice to have a simple music player that did not see podcasts as Albums!
