Default HTC HD native browser ignores 301 redirect

I have set up a 301 redirect from Craig Cockburn | LinkedIn to my linkedin profile. It works fine on my PC and apparently works fine on an iPhone too. I have checked the headers:

Proxy> No proxy being used
Command> GET / HTTP/1.0
Command> Host: Craig Cockburn | LinkedIn
Command>
Header> HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently
Header> Date: Thu, 16 Jun 2011 21:17:05 GMT
Header> Server: Apache
Header> Location: Craig Cockburn | LinkedIn
Header> Content-Length: 246
Header> Connection: close
Header> Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1
Location> Changing to: Craig Cockburn | LinkedIn

All looks fine. So why is it when I go to Craig Cockburn | LinkedIn on my native HTC Desire HD browser, there is no redirect and instead it stays on Silicon Glen, Scotland - Scottish culture and innovation Epic fail. Have cleared the cache, history etc etc etc.

What's the problem ? I'm on T-mobile in the UK.
