Default issue with download cue!

hi there,

I just got myself a Samsung Galaxy S Captivate a few days ago and am having an issue with downloading an app. I am trying to download the bar code scanning app. What is causing me issue is that the app did not move on from the "download starting" part of the download process. When I went to try and cancel the download the market closed and another "barcode scanning app" was added to the cue, this has repeated many times. When I try to clear the cache, nothing happens. I have also tried to remove the update from the app store and still nothing.

has anyone else had this issue, was it resolved?? should I go in and talk to a phone specialist? I am with rogers in Canada.

I met it 2 times long long ago. Clear cache and data of Android Market, and restart phone, the issue gone.

You might not even need to restart the phone just clear data and cache from the market via manage applications, then go back to the market, you may need to sign into google again and you should be good to go
