I use "CardioTrainer". It use to be pretty accurate on my Backflip phone, but not so on my Atrix.

Edited: I should mention that the treadmill recording doesn't work as well as it use too. All the other functions works really well though.

itsallgood, did you calibrate the stride length setting for your treadmill workouts? This link for the Cardio Trainer site (WorkSmart Labs) states that "CardioTrainer will only use the pedometer and stride length setting when you're doing a Treadmill Walk or Treadmill Run workout."

Good question. I don't ever remember a setting for this. According to the link you provided if I select Treadmill Wlaking or Running, it should work. (This I do). When I used it on my Backflip, it was working fine. I know so because the treadmill I was using kept track of calories burned, distance and speed.

Here's an excellent treadmill app, actually two. I'm a treadmill repairman, and I wrote a couple apps telling people what to do and what NOT to do to keep your treadmill running at peak efficiency and how to diagnose it if you have a problem.

I guarantee you will learn at least one or two things you didn't know about treadmills, like how terrible it is for them to be in the garage, what other things you may or may not be doing that are good and bad for it, and what to do if that's the only place you have room for it.

The free one that tells you what to do and what NOT to do; TREADMILL TRICORDER

https://market.android.com/details?id=appinventor.ai_exerepair.TTS_FREE_FINAL _copy&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImF wcGludmVudG9yLmFpX2V4ZXJlcGFpci5UVFNfRlJFRV9GSU5BT F9jb3B5Il0.

The paid one that walks you through (includes illustrations, my grandma helped me test it, it's very user friendly) more advanced maintenance, diagnosis, service and repair.

TREADMILL TESTER

I used Google's app inventor beta to build it, and so it's designed like a truck, i.e. its focus is on getting the job done, not being especially pretty, but if you can look past that, it's got priceless info in it that it took me years to gather, and will save you hundreds of dollars and keep you working out for many years to come.

Best, Eric

Oh, yeah, and it comes with a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. If you own a treadmill, you need this app.
