I changed my phone from an iPhone to a Samsung android.


One thing i used mostly on my iPhone was a music app called Djay that can change the speed of music and also have an EQ [ at the same time ].

I cant find a single app that does both of these things on the android market.

I've tried DJStudio, Droid DJ, ASC, Player pro, and Power Amp.

so i was wondering if some one here knew an app that can do this, before i regret wasting 200 dollars on this thing.

Android is a bit behind the times for media apps like this, what samsung phone did you get?

I ask because things will get better quickly as Google improved the audio API in Gingerbread (Android 2.3) and so we're going to start seeing more good apps make use of the new APIs but it will probably be over the next year or so.

Cool, so you already have, or will soon have Gingerbread. So at least you got that much going for ya

You might want to check out an app called TouchDAW -- I don't know how good it is but probably at least worth a look.

I found it, its astro player.
It looks nothing like Djay but it has a EQ and a speed changer.

I love my android now.

Astro player is nowhere near dJay when it comes to capability. I was hoping it had a actual deejaying interface with the scratch and mix capability like djay but looking at the description it doesnt.
