wlan ad-hoc? how connect peer to peer?

Hi,

I am trying to connect my Android 2.3.3 with my notebook over wlan, without any access point.
Is there a way to connect an Android dircet Ad-hoc over Wlan to another Wlan device?

It depends on your phone model and the software running on it.
You can try to run a special software on PC like Virtual Router or Connectify. This makes a software router which is then possible to connect to phones.
