Default security

HellO!

I have a few security questions.
Is there any app that keeps my phone from getting a virus?
and is there any app that does the same thing as Mobile defense? the app is only available in USA and I'm in Denmark :-(

thanks

I don't think Virus protection is necersary on Android however search for my lookout in the Android Market. It's free and does more than just "scan for viruses"

It looks like a great app... but it doens't show in my maket - nor when I follow the link via sms. I have a HTC tattoo, maybe it is the returning problem of the screen size?
Do you have a link so I can download it to my computer and sync via astro?

Thats probably the reason, you could always visit their site and contact them to see if they can make it compatible with your screen resolution : https://www.mylookout.com/home

There really needs to be a sticky teaching users about app safety and permission. That way they can learn best practices and not fear viruses as much.

Maybe I'll try and write one up but may need some expert help.
