Default Do these apps exist?

Anybody know a good app that can tell you a detour in the event you're stuck in traffic cuz of a car accident?

How about an app that can tell you where to find the nearest gas stations?

I'd appreciate any tips.

If none of these do exist, then these two would be a good idea to have on your phone, in my personal opinion anyway.

Thanks.

Google Navigation has the ability to find alternate routes; you can find it by going under route info. It is the third button in the screenshot.

You should have it by default; if not, go to the market and look for Google Maps.

I believe you can also filter items with Google Navigation to locate gas stations. Also look at Gasbuddy. It is a really nice solution.
