Default Floating Apps? - Other questions?

Hi there guys,

I love Android, coming over from the Iphone i have Tmobile Pulse!

I love how Android had "Floating Apps" Apps which run on there own in the background, like facebook?

Is there anymore apps like this, which can do the same, a Gmail one would be awesome or news feed (RSS)

Also on my Android i have a big cluttered messy list off apps on one page, looks like this, comes with some games i don't want. How can i get rid of them ?

All the best

Those "floating apps" are called widgets. The market is full of them. Just search for gmail widget or something like that.

Think the only way you can do this is to root your phone.

Some of the home replacement programs like PandaHome allow you to hide icons (although you can only delete many native programs with a rooted phone - not for the faint of heart). At least hiding the unused icons does reduce clutter.
