Seems like this would be an easy find, but I've been having a hard time finding an app or program that lets me send my geotagged photos to a Google Map, where that map can then be embedded on my blog.

I have an HTC Droid Incredible and I know I can geotag my photos, but is there a way to send those photos to a Google Map?

Flickr gets me mostly there, because I can use third party apps to create the map, but I first have to log into the Flickr browser separately and "add photo to my map" manually. Seems to defeat the purpose i f I'm traveling and want to send back pics of where I am.

Anybody know if this can be accomplished?

You don't have to add photos to the Flickr map manually if they're actually geotagged. Are you sure that they are geotagged? If so, is the method you're using to upload stripping the geotagging?

Inconvenient != defeat the purpose. Either way you're sharing travel photos which is the purpose.

Well I thought I was geotagging properly, but now I'm not so sure.

In my camera app, I have "geotag photos" checked and my GPS is enabled. When I uploaded to Flickr they did not appear on my map.
So I enabled Location services too. Took another photo, and still didn't appear on the map.

Thought maybe there could be a lag. So I took the photo, waited 5 minutes and then uploaded to flickr. Still nothing on the map.

I'm just using the "share" button on the photo, and choosing the Flickr app. Could that be stripping the geotagging? Maybe I need to use my Flickr email address.

When I go to a photo, my Samsung has options to share, delete, and more.
In "more", one of the options is "show on map"
It then takes me to the location on Google maps, where then (I assume) you could share it via sharing apps. Not sure, since I don't tweet, facebook, or flickr. Hope this helps.
