Default file transfer between tablet and phone?

Is there an app that allows you to connect a phone and tablet through a wifi and transfer files? I have root/superuser access on both, so that's not a problem.

Most of the file managers claim this feature I think, there is also blueftp or some such

Might try Astro and go from there

Incedentally transfering the files to a PC first via USB and back to the next device over USB would probably be about 5-10x faster

You can try ES FileExplorer. This is what I use, but the USB is the best way and easiest.

I've used es file explorer to send files from my phone to my mp3 player via bluetooth sure it was slow but worked. You may want to use dropbox if you are wanting the files on more than 2 devices

Which tablet do you have? If the tablet has a USB port, you can do a wired file transfer by mounting your phone as a USB storage device and then just copying with any file manager app on your tablet.
