Rocking Shortcuts, do everything with the volume rocker
Hello world,
I'm proud to present you my new application : Rocking Shortcuts!
It's an application that can launch 18 differents actions with the volume buttons also call volume "rocker" hence the name!
There's 8 differents triggers that you can use on the volume buttons : one press, double press, triple press or hold the +/- key.
You can launch one of your application, navigate to a web page, change the current music track to the next/previous one, take a photo, video or audio record or change various settings!
You can do all that even when another application is running or when your screen is locked.
You can have 5 differents configurations preset with differents action set to differents triggers! There's even an action to switch configuration one to another!
It's a perfect tool for any spies out there! There's no other application in the market that can take a photo/video that fast and without anyone to notice!
Seems like a good idea, but I have a question. How do you turn the volume up slightly if it is going to launch an application when you press it?
Each triggers doesn't change the volume unless you set it with the volume action.
See it like a mouse click. You can set one click with an action, doubleclick on another and so on.
What I usually do is let the one click triggers with volume changes, and the double/triple/hold with other actions like take a photo, play a sound effect or switch to the next song.
Its all customizable.

Tried Lite version. Set + to take a picture. Doesn't work. Optimus-V
Is it the only action that doesn't work or none works for you?
To make sure it really doesn't work for you, in the camera action, check "Make sound" and try again. If you hear nothing, it really doesn't work with your device. But if you hear the usual click sound, it did work but the "Show photo" feature might be the problem.
All photos, videos and audio records are saved in the media folter of Rocking Shortcuts. This folder can be configured in the shared settings but it's usually at /mnt/sdcard/Android/data/com.tournesol.rockingshortcuts
I had uninstalled, but just reinstalled and no sound with sound checked. Just the Volume Bar pops up. Using the camera shortcut in silent mode is the only reason I tried the app, don't need any of the other shortcuts. It's just a paint to turn down the volume to get no camera click. Did not make an SD card folder either.

I changed the camera action implementation, it should work well now

I am just trying out the lite version - has promise but not so polished yet? ie. In the lite version, it does indeed make a volume action as well as the action configured. eg. press volume down configured to toggle wifi will lower the volume one step and then when I let it go - the wifi toggles.
I appreciate the need for a limited lite version - however it's not much use changing the default volume operation as 99.9% of people are going to want to leave that one. Can't you open up 2 function double tap + and double tap - instead?
Thanks for your efforts though - esp the camera and audio recording. I will buy if I can be clear on double functions mentioned above.
