Question Does anyone have any idea what this app is?

...or how I can get rid of it? Screenshots:

According to Orange, my phone is sending out tons of data every month. I don't recognise this app, and I suspect it might be the culprit. I don't really want to wipe my phone and start again, but I can only find this app in the Android App manager. Astro File Manager doesn't show it, nor does Advanced Task Killer.

Any suggestions gratefully received!

Are you running a custom rom? It looks very suspicious. Did you get the Phone from Orange?

Examine Settings/Applications/Running Services, and also /About phone/Battery usage (especially what's listed under Android System), to see if there's any more info on it.

I have to say I'd be VERY suspicious of an app with an unfathomable name that appears to be installed as a system app (hence "Cancel" rather than "Uninstall"). Have you asked in the Nexus One forum?
