I downloaded EasyTether USB tethering for my android and I've been using it to connect to the internet on my laptop when I go to houses that don't have it, and it works pretty great. Except for the fact that I can't get on certain websites at times and it doesn't make any sense. In particular, it won't let me get on hotmail or be on MSN messenger. It won't load the page if I type in hotmail.com but it'll load if I type in login.live.com and one should redirect to the other so it doesn't make any sense. And if I can get the login screen, it won't log me in and says the DNS lookup failed. This doesn't happen when I'm connected to our wifi at home, so it's not the computer. And I can get on hotmail on my phone internet, but not on my laptop through my phone. Can anyone figure it out? Thanks lol.

You don't mention which version of ET you are using. If it is the free version then it only supports the the http protocol not the https (secure). If you upgrade from the free version then https will be supported.
